A Fake OtherKin Facebook Page By Sherrie D. Larch

Gender Identity Watch and the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists are now impersonating other groups and communities to achieve their transphobic and homophobic agendas. They have recently created a page on Facebook named “Otherkin Rising” http://www.donotlink.com/b6kp  impersonating otherkin members. “Otherkin are individuals who identify, in some intrinsic way, as not being human. The most common beliefs are that one's soul/energy/spirit or one's psychology/mentality/brain chemistry (or a combination) are not human, while a very few believe that they are in some way physically not human (though this is the subject of much debate)” http://otherkincommunity.org/wiki/Category:Otherkin. This Facebook page does not follow the values and beliefs of the otherkin community and is not part of any of their various groups. This Facebook page is a completely fake otherkin page and should be considered a hate page against both the otherkin community and the LGBTQI community as a whole.

Gender Identity Watch and the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists created the Facebook page “Otherkin Rising” to create a conflict between the otherkin  and the LGBTQI communities, targeting transgender people and their rights in particular. This Facebook page is not only trying to cause conflict between otherkin members and transgender people but is also mocking both communities with outlandish posts that have nothing to do with otherkin’s values and beliefs or the beliefs and values of the transgender community. It has posted threads mocking animals and the beliefs of the otherkin and posted threads mocking gender identity and gender expression to harass and humiliate transgender people. Gender Identity Watch and the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists have a history of trying to get conflicts going between groups in the LGBTQI community, including causing chaos between gays and lesbians and transgender people, by creating fake homosexual pages including the Facebook page “We are Homosexuals Not Homogenderuals” 

http://www.donotlink.com/b6kr. Creating this fake otherkin Facebook page is a tactic to cause conflict between the otherkin and transgender communities and to cause more hate for both groups. This plan is to meet the Gender Identity Watch and the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists agenda of transphobic hate towards transgender people and their group also have no respect for the LGBTQI

community as a whole, wanting it to split into fighting fractions. This hate group also does not understand the otherkin community and their belief system and values. Gender Identity Watch and the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists are a hate group and should be exposed for what they are.

Allison Woolbert is the founder of the Transgender Violence Tracking Portal, which monitors transphobic hate and violence against the transgender community. Allison Woolbert states: “I am a concerned member of the community. I wanted to find a way to make sure that the violence against transgender/genderqueer/non-binary people is accurately documented and not swept under the carpet…So often, the media and law enforcement are dismissive concerning the violence that is inflicted on transgender/genderqueer/non-binary people. In addition, hate incidents against transgender people are often not documented at all. Many of the cases that are reported are sensationalized, and the facts become muddled and disconnected”

TERF Tracker is Allison Woolbert’s new project to confront Cathy Brennan’s Gender identity Watch and its members ("Brennanites") also called  the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists (also known as TERFs for short) by monitoring and exposing them to protect the transgender community and their supporters. “The Transgender Community has a need to protect ourselves from those that seek to directly cause harm to us, our families and our friends. The need arises given a group known as the Trans* Exclusionary Radical Feminists (TERFs) are doxing our lives, posting information on us constantly, attempting to intimidate us, dead-naming us, misgendering us, and harassing us at every turn” http://terftracker.com/index.html. 

Gender identity Watch has been listed as a hate group by the Transgender Violence Tracking Portal because of its hatred and vile actions towards transgender people and their supporters. There is also a movement by Secular Woman, an intersectional feminist group, to get it listed as a hate group with the Southern Poverty Law Center. The goal of Allison Woolbert and the members of TERF Tracker is to expose Gender identity Watch and the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists and expose their transphobic propaganda which spreads their message of hate and the promotion of violence and stop their constant outing and harassment of individual transgender people online and in the real world.      

The Hate Group Gender Identity Watch And Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists Are Destructive to Gay Rights

Cathy Brennan’s hate group Gender Identity Watch and its followers and supporters the Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists (also called TERFs)  are publicly very transphobic and promote hate and violence towards transgender people, especially transgender women that are the main targets of their extreme hatred. Gender Identity Watch has been listed as a hate group by The Transgender Violence Tracking Portal (TVTP). “Ms. Allison Woolbert, founder of the TVTP, states, “Gender Identity Watch is one of the most dangerous and malicious anti-transgender groups that exist today.  Gender Identity Watch consistently targets specifically transgender individuals through daily campaigns of intimidation and malice including misgendering, outing, publishing photos, stalking transgender people on dating sites, social media and harassment of the individual.  Their long standing anti-transgender actions constitutes a serious harm to any transgender person they deem a target and as such are declared today a Hate Group”

But Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists are also a destructive force against lesbian and gay rights, with their belief that sexual orientation is not a natural biological trait and that no one is born homosexual. Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists; believe in what they call political lesbianism. “Political lesbianism is a phenomenon within feminism, primarily Second-wave feminism and radical feminism; it includes, but is not limited to, lesbian separatism. Political lesbianism embraces the theory that sexual orientation is a political and feminist choice, and advocates lesbianism as a possible alternative to heterosexuality for women[1] as part of the struggle against sexism.[2]” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_lesbianism. Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists will discredit and attack anyone that says homosexuality, bisexuality, pansexuality or heterosexuality are biological traits. Like the religious right they believe a person’s sexual orientation can be converted to just about anything that society or their group wants them to be. Gay conversion therapy that is used to try to make gays and lesbians straight has been proven dangerous for the individual going through it and does not truly change an individual’s sexual orientation. The Southern Poverty Law Center states: “Conversion therapy – sometimes known as reparative or “sexual reorientation” therapy – is a dangerous practice based on the premise that people can change their sexual orientation, literally “converting” from gay to straight. Conversion therapy has been discredited or highly criticized by virtually all major American medical, psychiatric, psychological and professional counseling organizations. People who have undergone conversion therapy have reported increased anxiety, depression, and in some cases, suicidal ideation. The devastating consequences of conversion therapy are why the Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to ending this practice and defending the rights of individuals harmed by it” http://www.splcenter.org/conversion-therapy. If gay conversion therapy to try and turn a gay person straight is harmful so is straight conversion therapy to try and turn a straight person gay. No matter how this conversion is done, either through force and coercion or volunteering and sacrifice for a group, it is harmful to the person. Either for a religious or a political cause, trying to change an individual’s sexuality is going against their natural sexual orientation.     

This belief that sexual orientation is a choice and you can just change it like your clothes is harmful and a generalization that causes gays and lesbians to be seen as defective and wrong and in need of being psychologically or medically corrected to be normal. This idea also goes against the political interests and legal rights of gays and lesbians that have fought long and hard for the rights we have now and slowly getting including marriage equality, employment and housing anti-discrimination laws, the right to serve in the United States military and various other laws that have been fought for with blood, sweat, and tears throughout history. The question this brings up is, if a person can change their sexual orientation so easily, why would they need all these basic rights. This dangerous viewpoint can destroy the gay rights movement and completely ignores science and nature.  “Recent research has found that homosexual behavior in animals may be much more common than previously thought. Although Darwin’s theory of natural selection predicts an evolutionary disadvantage for animals that fail to pass along their traits through reproduction with the opposite sex, the validity of this part of his theory has been questioned with the discoveries of homosexual behavior in more than 10% of prevailing species throughout the world. Currently, homosexual behavior has been documented in over 450 different animal species worldwide” Do Animals Exhibit Homosexuality? But just like the religious right, Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists, ignore science for their own hate and oppress others for their agenda.

Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists main focus on sexual orientation is to prove that scientific research on sexual orientation is wrong and that it is a choice, which is also the religious right’s goal to destroy the gay rights movement. Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists also believe if they can get people to believe that sexual orientation is a choice than they can get people to believe that gender identity is a choice too. This is to try and prove there is no such thing as transgenderism. Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists also promote their political lesbianism by trying to destroy the gay rights movement. Conversion of straight women into pseudo-lesbians for a political agenda is one of the ways Gender Identity Watch and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists wants to increase their numbers and get back at cisgender men that they believe are to blame for everything that has went wrong in the world and their lives. Cathy Brennan states:

Cathy Brennan’s theory is that any straight woman can leave heterosexuality and her boyfriend or husband behind, without looking back and if she can not she is supporting misogyny and is a traitor to womanhood. This idea is not only damaging for the cause of gay rights but it is bad for feminism and women’s rights as a whole. Feminism’s true goal is to give all women the right to choose for themselves, this takes this choice away from them. This is also telling lesbians that their sexual orientation has no real meaning except to punish men and to be used as a political tool of hate. This is not true feminism or gay rights. Gender Identity and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists are both a transphobic and a homophobic hate group. Just say no when they come to convert you.

A commentary on “A Feminist Guide to all things Trans” - Part III

This is my commentary on “A Feminist Guide to all things Trans” an article on The Dirt Blog by the blogger called Dirt or dirtywhiteboi67. Dirt writes about her Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists (TERF) pseudo-scientific and pseudo-feminist theories on transgenderism and feminism. These views have nothing to do with true scientific facts on gender identity, transgenderism, or true feminism. Dirt’s blog The Dirt from Dirt, additional blogs, and YouTube channel spread transphobia against transgender men and women and hatred towards all cisgender men, she especially targets young transgender men outing them and humiliating them online.

 Dirt’s blog entry on Monday, August 19, 2013 “A Feminist Guide to all things Trans” (http://www.donotlink.com/hz1) has many false statements that are either total lies or misreprentations. Dirt ignores scientific facts, medical and psychiatric terminology, and plain human decency.  It is full of transphobia, internalized homophobia, and hatred of all people that are male or masculine in nature. Let us analyze Dirt’s statements (direct quotes).

51. Dirt states: All the troubles that lead the trans person to transition do not magically go away post transition, in fact many more new troubles arise.

Fact: Not everyone is happy with any treatment or surgery. Life also gives you challenges that have nothing to do with a person transition.

52. Dirt states: Cis is an organic chemistry term trans persons use misogynistically to attack primarily feminist and separate themselves from non transitioners.

Fact: The term cisgender is not used in a misogynistic manner.

“Cisgender: is a term used to describe people who, for the most part, identify as the gender they were assigned at birth.  For example, if a doctor said “it’s a boy!” when you were born, and you identify as a man, then you could be described as cisgender. In other words, ‘cisgender’ is used to describe people who are not transgender” (Trans 101: Cisgender). http://www.basicrights.org/uncategorized/trans-101-cisgender/.

53. Dirt states: Because the trans identity is self created, i.e weak, trans persons cannot fathom critical analysis of any kind.

Fact: Transgenderism is not self-created; it is a nature born difference in the brain studies have shown.

54. Dirt states: No one labeling themselves trans is a feminist.

Fact: Another generalization. Yes, they do, just not a TERF.

55. Dirt states: The foundation for transition is misogyny, and misogyny is the foundation for homophobia.

Fact: Another catasterphizing viewpoint. Transgenderism and transition has nothing to do with misogyny, though homophobia and transphobia intertwined and have blurred lines, they are related. But still another generalization, which is a common theme with TERF propaganda, which uses misogyny for all things transgender.

56. Dirt states: Transphobia does not exist.

Fact: Yes, it does, just read the newspaper or watch your local or nationwide news. Or listen to Dirt and the TERFs.

57. Dirt states: Trans persons attacked or murdered are done so because of homophobia and the foundation of homophobia-misogyny.

Fact: Both transphobia and homophobia come from the same root cause and endanger people and are created by people like Dirt who spread hatred to the LGBTQI community.

58. Dirt states: Transition flourished because female fetishizers for decades have used the gay and lesbian political platform to advance their fetishes and inline with the leaders of the straight white homophobic medical community, hampered and out right destroyed gay and lesbian advancement and lives.

Fact: A statement that sounds paranoid and delusional and sounds like Dirt is again throwing her fellow gay men and women under the bus for a TERF agenda.

59. Dirt states: Transition never ends, high dosing of hormones must continue the life of the trans person.

Fact: Yes, hormone use can continues for a life time or can be discontinued any time after surgeries generally, many continue, but many stop due to little medical knowledge or documentation.

         

   This commentary on  “A Feminist Guide to all things Trans” by Dirt is long but it shows the TERF forms of circular reasoning, the spread of fear propaganda, total hatred of transgenderism and gender identity, and internalized homophobia through their lesbian members. You will notice Dirt like other TERFs use propaganda that makes no scientific sense. They will use old studies that have been proven completely wrong and will try to state that they are still valid. TERFs also use cisgender women’s fear of rape, telling them all transgender women are out to get them and so are all cisgender men. “Fear everyone born with a penis” is their message to cisgender women. But they cannot come up with all these criminal records of all these sexual attacks by transgender women and they cannot prove that all cisgender men have raped. TERFs are also very willing to tie gays and lesbians in with pedophiles and even dangerous sexual predators, if they can use it against transgender women and to promote their transphobic agenda.

 So let us continue

Terf Tracker is an organized effort to provide further safety to the transgender community by documenting TERF organizations, their followers and the distortions that they present.  This effort is in response to continual aggressive harassment by groups such as Gender Identity Watch, the hate group and other associated groups.

TERFs Terrified as TERF Registry begins

Last week, we wrote about the Exaggerations that TERFs do all the time.  The recent propaganda of fear and hate spewed forth from the TERFs as a new registry of names was proposed to track TERFs was completely expected.  Given the many lies, deceptions and fabrications being published daily by the hate group Gender Identity Watch, it is of no surprise that those who identity as TERFs made every attempt to demonize the registry founders and decry the project as “Orwellian” and all sorts of rabid claims. 

Probably the the points this project needs to point out in the exaggerated distortions that were published are:

1. We aren’t tracking ALL Women.  The vast amount of women support transgender individuals and have been long standing allies for those who are oppressed just as they are.
2. We aren’t stalking anyone –if you are TERF doing hate as an act of public discourse, it’s PUBLIC-  get use to the world knowing exactly who you are, and exactly the hate you spew.
3. While Gender Identity Watch the hate group continues to dox transgender people this project will continue to track individuals who contribute, are members of, or support such doxing in the public discourse.

There is an easy solution for all of this- 1. Stop being transphobic and harming individuals.  It’s that simple TERFs.

Once they thought they had substantially demonized Allison Woolbert, they then proceeded to recommend people contact her Unitarian Universalist Congregation and TELL them that Allison was creating a database to “stalk women”. 

When that failed, and nobody contacted the congregation- they then said- Oh- Let’s try Standing on the Side of Love, a UU Organization that Allison has written articles for:

Here is the reality- radical extremists have taken over a small piece of the feminist movement for equality based on hate and fear. 

The TERFTracker.com site is here to bring about  awareness of these individuals to prevent further malicious behavior by these individuals attempts to harm transgender people.  

Although we cannot stop the doxxing that these individuals have consistently done to those in the public eye, we can let other unsuspecting people know exactly who the people are who are perpetrating these acts so that we may protect ourselves from such ugly and rampant transphobia.
